‘Time at Turbo’ documents the experience of entering and navigating a new environment, focusing on how thoughts and emotions shift over time.

I visited Turbo Island and recorded my internal monologue as I spent an extended period in the space. In response, I created a typographic piece, laser cut into a plank of wood, translating these thoughts into a physical form. I then returned to the site and burned the work on the fire that regularly appears there at night.

The act was documented through photographs and fragments of conversations with the strangers present. This material was later developed into a publication, capturing both the process and the atmosphere of the event. Image of publication/ slidehsow of all pages.
