‘The Things We Hold’, printed on light lager coloured pages, examines the history, design, and public perception of the pint glass.
‘The Things We Say’, presented in a darker ale tone, looks at the social impact of pub culture, from its influence on television and film to the rituals and language of “pub chat.”
‘The Things We Do’, the final section, focuses on contemporary pub life. Taking a more humorous, image led approach, it documents the games, traditions, and drinking customs found in pubs across Britain.
