Tied Together
This project explores personal space as an invisible boundary. I investigated how clothing, which usually separates individuals and reinforces identity, could instead collapse that separation.
The outcome is a pair of ties sewn together, forcing two wearers into shared physical proximity. Using an item associated with formality and controlled interaction creates tension and discomfort, highlighting the loss of personal boundaries and autonomy.
